This role emphasizes environmental monitoring and compliance across various energy projects. You'll oversee daily inspections, wildlife activities, and the effectiveness of mitigation measures. Collaborating with construction teams ensures environmental protocols are integrated throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect construction activities regularly and provide feedback
• Monitor wildlife and implement necessary measures
• Evaluate erosion control practices and suggest improvements
• Generate compliance reports and manage environmental incidents
• Act as a liaison for environmental best practices
Requirements:
• 5-7 years in a relevant environmental or biology role
• Degree in a related field required
• Field experience in avian surveys or similar
• Previous involvement with linear construction projects is a plus
• Certification in sediment control desirable
