Stantec is hiring a Senior Database Geologist for its Energy and Resources Canada West team. This role demands a strong background in data management and geoscience to support various mining and industrial sectors. You’ll engage in resource estimation, mine planning, and business development activities while leading projects within your area of expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain geological databases using SQL and Access
• Manage complex databases with QA/QC protocols
• Analyze data through GIS and database software
• Build geologic models using industry software
• Author technical reports as Qualified Person after qualifications
Requirements:
• 8-10 years experience in database management
• Proficient with Microsoft Access/SQL and relevant tools
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Registered professional geologist or equivalent
• Willingness to travel to remote locations for projects
