Intermediate Geochemist

KCB is seeking an Intermediate Geochemist in Sudbury, ON, to create a positive environmental impact through innovative geochemical analyses. This hybrid role invites you to work on diverse local and global mining projects.

As a member of KCB's Mining Environmental Group, you will leverage critical thinking in geochemical assessments. Your expertise will guide effective waste management, water treatment, and regulatory compliance. Engage with a motivated team focusing on continued development and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geochemical analyses of soil, rock, and water samples

• Develop geochemical models predicting long-term environmental trends

• Provide strategic advice on mining projects and mitigation measures

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for monitoring and remediation

• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings

Requirements:

• Degree in Geochemistry or Environmental Science

• At least five years of relevant mining sector experience

• Proficiency in geochemical modeling software

• Ability to build relationships with project teams

• Experience in a safety-focused work environment
