Magna Mining Inc. is a Sudbury-focused, base metal exploration and development company.

Magna Mining’s key objective is to become the next nickel and copper producing company in Canada by executing a growth strategy that is focused exclusively on the historic nickel producing district of Sudbury, ON.

We intend to achieve this objective via the creation of a Sudbury focused, hub and spoke production model, with our existing Shakespeare project as the hub. The path to the creation of a significant new battery metals producing Canadian company is to execute a long term, multi-faceted growth strategy.

The Senior Geologist,Productiondeliverssustainable and reliable mine geological services to support safe and efficient underground operations at Magna Mining’s Levack Mine.

• Design , implement and perform grade control, geological mapping, orebody interpretation and effective reconciliations and resource definition practises and standard operating procedures .
• Design and implement and perform diamond drilling programs , core logging, and sampling and QAQC practises and procedures .
• Ensure geologic models, including short-term block modelling, are up-to-date and accurate . Collaborate with exploration teams on near-mine drilling programs.
• Supervise and mentor geologists, technologists, and field personnel involved in production geology activities.
• Ensure production geology activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver monthly production reconciliation between mine and resource model.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on geological performance, ore quality, and team KPIs.
• Identify and implement improvements to geological processes and technologies.
• Work cross-functionally with mine planning, engineering, operations and metallurgy teams to optimize resource extraction.
• Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies as needed.

Qualifications:

Formal Education, Certifications or Equivalents

• Post-secondary education in Geolog ical Sciences , Geological Engineering , or a related field.
• Pr ofessional Geo scientist designation in Ontario or eligibility to obtain P GO is required .
• 7or more years ofmineral exploration, with a focus on underground mining operations.
• Sound knowledge of underground mining methods.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and safety practices in underground mining.
