Senior Geologist – Data Management Specialist

Stantec is expanding its Energy and Resources team in Canada West with the addition of a Senior Database Geologist. This role requires a deep understanding of geological data management and involves integrating complex datasets to drive resource estimation and mining operations. You will lead projects and assist in securing new clients as part of a skilled team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design geological databases using modern software systems

• Ensure data integrity and manage acquisition protocols

• Analyze geological data through GIS platforms

• Develop geologic models via industry-standard applications

• Author technical reports in accordance with NI43-101 and JORC

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of relevant industry experience

• Proficiency in SQL and geological modeling software

• Strong attention to detail with QA/QC practices

• Professional geology registration required

• Willingness to undertake travel for project assignments
