Join WSP as an Early Career Industrial Hygienist in Sudbury, ON. This role focuses on promoting health and safety in industrial sectors through comprehensive assessments and fieldwork.
As a member of WSP's Mining Industrial Hygiene team, you'll engage in significant exposure assessments and risk analysis that directly influence worker safety in various industries. The position involves traveling to client sites, spending considerable time in the field, and developing your technical abilities alongside seasoned professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct industrial hygiene evaluations and hazardous materials surveys
• Collect and analyze sampling data from field activities
• Develop clear reports based on findings for clients
• Assist in environmental safety programs and audits
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related discipline
• 1 to 3 years of experience in industrial hygiene
• Familiar with safety regulations and industrial hygiene practices
• Proficient in field data collection tools and software
• Valid driver's license for year-round site travel
