Join Vale Base Metals’ Maintenance Department as we look for a certified Welder Fitter. The position demands proficiency in metal fabrication, welding, and a commitment to enforcing safety regulations in a vibrant, 24-hour operation. Candidates should possess a minimum of four years of progressive industrial experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute metal welding and fabrication tasks effectively

• Read and interpret pipe and structural steel drawings

• Install, modify, and repair mining and plant equipment

• Adhere to work safety regulations and policies

• Maintain precision in metal working processes

Requirements:

• Fully Licensed Journeyperson (437A Red Seal)

• CWB Certification required

• Preferred four years of industrial welding experience

• Proficiency in oxy-fuel, plasma cutting processes

• Experience with various metal working devices
