In this full-time role, you will support apprentices in navigating their challenges and promote skilled trades opportunities through outreach initiatives. Your expertise will guide individuals as they progress through their apprenticeship journeys, ensuring they have access to vital resources and information. This role entails collaboration with educational institutions and community organizations to foster a greater understanding of skilled trades careers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote apprenticeships through outreach sessions and presentations
• Deliver information at schools and industry events
• Support underrepresented groups in accessing trades resources
• Assist apprentices with registration and retention strategies
• Track apprentice milestones for compliance
Requirements:
• Valid driver's license and access to vehicle
• Certified Journeyperson or related postsecondary education
• Experience in skilled trades or workforce development
• Familiarity with apprenticeship pathways and certifications
• Bilingual in French and English preferred
