Vale Base Metals is actively hiring Millwrights/Industrial Mechanics to join its Maintenance team in Sudbury. This position involves hands-on work in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment.

Your role is vital in interpreting blueprints and executing maintenance strategies essential for the company's operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, assemble, and repair mechanical equipment efficiently

• Conduct thorough inspections on operational machinery

• Maintain safety compliance in all work practices

• Perform welding as required under safety guidelines

• Support hoisting equipment testing and servicing

Requirements:

• Certified Millwright/Industrial Mechanic (433A Red Seal)

• High school diploma or GED needed

• At least 4 years of experience in industrial settings

• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems preferred

• Mechanical blueprint reading skills helpful
