Experienced Millwright for On-Site Work

Location: Greater Sudbury

Join our team as a Millwright, where you’ll focus on assembling mechanical equipment and supervising apprentices on-site. We need skilled individuals ready to troubleshoot and maintain machinery.

This role requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience. As a Millwright, you will utilize your expertise in hydraulic systems, conveyor equipment, and power tools. You will also perform routine maintenance and supervise other workers, operating various machining tools in a physically demanding and noisy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical equipment securely and efficiently

• Coach and mentor apprentices in trade skills

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical irregularities

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment

• Operate machining tools to fabricate necessary parts

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years in a millwright role

• Industrial Mechanic or equivalent certification

• Experience with conveyors and hydraulic systems

• Must handle physical demands of the role

• Personal tools including steel-toed boots required
