- Competitive wages: base pay is $32.05-$48.07/hour depending on qualifications. Discussion regarding full compensation package conducted upon initial pre‑screen.

Join our team in Sudbury as an Apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician and gain hands‑on experience working with industry‑leading machinery in a dynamic, safety‑first environment. Reports to: General Supervisor, Shop
Shift: 5x2, Monday-Friday8h/day
Safety Sensitive: Yes‑drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5‑year provincial driving record will be required
Travel: up to 25% travel within Canada and potentially the USA
Relocation: This role is not eligible for relocation
As an Apprentice HET, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians to:
- Assist with inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of heavy equipment
- Learn to service hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems
- Support scheduled maintenance and component rebuilds in a controlled shop setting
- Use tools and diagnostic software to identify issues and perform repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety protocols
- Enrollment in a recognized Heavy Equipment Technician apprenticeship program- 421A required
- Basic understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to work safely and follow procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction
- Valid Class G Driver’s License
