Heavy Equipment Technician

In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and repair construction and forestry equipment. We seek a certified Journeyperson or equivalent with mechanical experience, particularly with electrical troubleshooting. Your ability to ensure safety and documentation will be crucial in delivering top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose working conditions of heavy-duty equipment

• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently

• Document actions and time on work orders accurately

• Assess task hazards and enforce safety standards

• Road test equipment and check attachment operations

Requirements:

• Certification as a Journeyperson in Heavy Duty Equipment

• Previous mechanical experience in heavy equipment preferred

• Skills in electrical diagnosis and aftertreatment systems

• Strong commitment to customer service excellence

• Ability to work with computer systems like John Deere Service Advisor
