Are you mechanically minded and enjoy working with your hands? Join Levitt-Safety as a Field Service Technician and build specialized skills in fire suppression and Fire & Life Safety systems.

This is a hands-on, mobile role working at customer sites across Sudbury.

Fire suppression experience is an asset, but we’re willing to train the right candidate with mechanical aptitude and a strong willingness to learn.

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect, service, repair and maintain vehicle fire suppression systems and Fire & Life Safety equipment.
  • Work with systems from Ansul, Kidde, Fogmaker and Amerex.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues using hand and power tools.
  • Complete inspections, service reports and required safety documentation.
  • Maintain your service vehicle, tools and inventory.
  • Provide basic customer training and support.
  • Represent Levitt-Safety professionally at customer sites.

What You Bring

  • Mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience with vehicles, equipment, machinery or similar systems.
  • Experience with mechanical or electrical systems and hand/power tools.
  • Fire suppression or fire protection experience is an asset, not required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Comfortable using mobile devices and technology.
  • Valid driver's licence and satisfactory driver's abstract.
  • Ability to pass required background and drug & alcohol screening.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work around large equipment, climb ladders and work in confined or restricted spaces.
