Underground Construction Miners​/Leaders

SCR Mining and Tunnelling L.P. is hiring for the role of Construction Miner/Leader.

There is an existing vacancy for this position.

This is a permanent role.

This is a full-time role, consisting of 40 – 52 hours per week, pending applicable rotation.

This position is for employment within the city of Greater Sudbury, ON

As a Construction Miner/Leader, you will:

• Construct, install, maintain, and repair structures within a mining environment.
• Follow daily line-ups, safety procedures, and Ontario Regulation 854 Mines and Mining Plants.
• Support construction projects through reliable equipment maintenance.

Essential qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Trade certification in carpentry is also considered an asset.
• Experience in concrete preparation and placement is preferred.
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Underground Common Core modules (U0000, U0001, U0002, U0012).
• Underground Common Core Modules (U0080, U0085A, U0085B, U0085C, U0086) are an asset.
• 3
  -5 years of experience working in an underground mine.

The compensation range for the position is competitive and based on experience. Hourly base wages are to be between $20.00 to $30.00 CAD + hourly incentive bonus.
