Orillia Chevrolet is looking for a skilled and reliable Service Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a qualified technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, accurate diagnostics, and working in a busy dealership service department.
As a Service Technician, you will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles while following dealership and manufacturer service standards.
Responsibilities- Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs
- Complete routine services such as oil changes, brakes, tires, fluid services, and inspections
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Complete repairs accurately and efficiently
- Communicate recommended repairs with the service advisor team
- Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification or 4th Year Apprentice status
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Reliable, professional, and team-focused attitude
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy service department
- Valid driver’s licence
- GM or dealership experience is an asset, but not required
- Competitive pay
