Overview
BINA Farm Center is seeking a full-time, in-person Assistant Program Manager to support the planning, coordination, and implementation of our equine programs. Reporting to the Program Manager, this role works collaboratively with program staff, administrative team members, instructors, and therapists to ensure consistent, high-quality, mission-aligned programming. The Assistant Program Manager serves as a key point of coordination between program leadership and Program Associates, supporting day-to-day program operations while assisting with program planning and supporting the development and implementation of programs.
Program Operations
- Coordinate daily program operations to ensure schedules, staffing, and participant and volunteer needs are met
- Assist in managing the Master Program Schedule in collaboration with the Program Manager
- Support appropriate participant, volunteer, and equine placement and overall program flow
- Address day-to-day operational needs and/or emergencies to ensure a seamless participant experience
- Support adherence to PATH Intl., Massachusetts, and BINA Farm Center standards across all programming
Program Development
- Support the planning and implementation of strategic program initiatives in collaboration with the Program Manager and Executive Director
- Assist with program planning, scheduling, staffing, and coordination of materials and other resources required for program delivery
- Provide operational and logistical support to ensure successful program implementation and execution
Administrative Coordination
- Support administrative workflows related to participant and volunteer intake, scheduling, enrollment, and communication
- Ensure participant and volunteer documentation, including required releases and records, is complete, accurate, and up to date
- Monitor the accuracy of program data and records, coordinating with Program Associates to maintain current information across systems
- Coordinate the timely and accurate submission of enrollment and billing information to the Finance Department
Staff and Volunteer Support
- Provide day-to-day guidance and support to Program Associates
- Coordinate participant and volunteer scheduling and serve as a point of contact for related operational needs
- Support volunteer recruitment, coordination, and engagement in collaboration with the Program Associates
- Assist with the planning and delivery of volunteer orientations, trainings, and workshops in collaboration with the Program Manager
Instructional Responsibilities
- Maintain a current Massachusetts Licensed Riding Instructor license and CPR certification, and hold, be actively pursuing, or be willing to obtain PATH Intl. Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI) certification
- Provide up to 20 hours of mounted and/or unmounted lesson instruction per week, as assigned
- Deliver instruction in accordance with BINA Farm Center's safety standards, curriculum, and instructional approach
- Foster a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment for all participants
- Complete accurate and timely lesson documentation in accordance with organizational requirements
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
