The Town of Sudbury Combined Facilities Department is currently hiring for the position of Special Assistant to the Combined Facilities Director. This is a full-time (35 hours per week), benefits-eligible position responsible for supervising and coordinating the functions of the Combined Facilities Department (Town of Sudbury and Sudbury Public Schools). The Special Assistant works as a liaison between Sudbury’s various departments, boards, committees, and Town officials, and performs and supervises a wide variety of complex administrative and clerical duties under broad supervision of the Combined Facilities Director, including procurement, research, data collection, study and creation of reports/projections for relevant budget, capital, energy, grants and other strategic planning needs.
We are seeking candidates with prior facility management experience, strong customer service and communication skills who are organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
- Typical qualifications for this position include an Associate’s degree in business or related field; and five years of administrative/office experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Municipal experience, working knowledge of Massachusetts procurement laws and regulations and/or MCPPO certification preferred.
The full hiring range for this position is $65,510 – $86,155 (35 hours per week); starting salary is based on qualifications. Sudbury also offers excellent benefits, including
