Primrose School
is looking for an energetic, organized, and inspiring leader to join their brand-new preschool in
Sudbury, MA
. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who has extensive experience within a licensed preschool.

  • This is a Direct Hire position with the school
  • Full-time alternating opening and closing shifts with other administrative team members;
    Monday – Friday; year-round employment
Compensation
  • $70,000 – $90,000/yearly
    pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood experience
  • Bonus Potential

Job Responsibilities
  • Operations:effectively operate and manage all aspects of the school, including staffing, parent relations, quality control and facility management; lead recruitment efforts – job postings, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Financials:maintain budgets and financial records within set parameters
  • Program Quality:ensure teachers are trained and effectively implementing curriculum in an age-appropriate way and program is delivering on the company’s quality and brand standards
  • Employee Success:nurture a positive workplace atmosphere; facilitate ongoing training, learning and growth among staff members; provide guidance to staff and direct reports, issuing written disciplinary notices when required; elevate unresolved employment issues or legal concerns to senior management when necessary
  • Parent Relations:ensure the satisfaction of our parents by promptly addressing their concerns in a courteous and proactive manner
  • Enrollment and Marketing:coordinate admissions processes, including waitlists, tours, and enrollment paperwork utilizing school management information systems; build center enrollment by providing tours to families, leading school and community events, and utilizing social media; maintain a positive public image for the preschool
  • Massachusetts Licensing Compliance:ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and develop strong professional relationships with state licensing authorities; maintain accurate records and documentation to demonstrate compliance; maintain a safe and clean environment for children and staff; stay informed about changes in laws and regulations affecting preschool education
Qualifications
  • REQUIRED

    Education:

    A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education or related field
  • REQUIRED Certification:Director II Certification
  • REQUIRED Management

    Experience:

    At least 3years
    of management experience at the Director or Assistant Director level in an EEC licensed childcare center or the equivalent
  • REQUIRED Leadership

    Experience:

    Experience managing at least
    20 employees
    in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility with at least
    100
    enrolled students
  • REQUIRED Teaching

    Experience:

    At least 3years of Early Childhood Education teaching experience in a licensed facility
  • Must
    be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
  • Must
    meet background check eligibility
