Job DescriptionOn-Call Daily Substitutes
Willow Hill School is looking to add to our pool of daily substitutes.
Founded in 1970, Willow Hill School provides a supportive and individualized educational program for middle and high school students who are capable of advancing along a strong academic curriculum but have experienced frustration in earlier school settings. Located in Sudbury, MA our school consists of students in grades 6 through 12.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow and deliver lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful classroom environment
- Manage student behavior using school-approved policies and strategies
- Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, and other school settings as needed
- Uphold all school policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements
Desired
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience directly serving children with learning differences or other special needs in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to different grade levels, subjects, and classroom environments
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A problem solver
