Systems Engineer, Electronics Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high volume, low power embedded electronics and electromechanical systems
- Create, review, and maintain complex schematics and PCB layouts in compliance with design standards
- Perform circuit level testing, debugging, and troubleshooting, including EMI/EMC issue resolution
- Lead design controls activities, including requirements definition, DFMEA, and verification test planning
- Define electronic system, subsystem, and component requirements
- Collaborate cross functionally to ensure designs are optimized for high volume manufacturing and test
- Mentor junior engineers in best practices, including design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for test (DFT)
- Contribute to the development of new methods, tools, and intellectual property
- Plan and execute engineering experiments in a lab environment
- Create and manage schedules for complex projects with cross functional dependencies
- Support continuous improvement of engineering tools, processes, and standards
- Bachelor's degree with at least 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience defining electrical and system level requirements
- Hands on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators)
- Risk analysis and FMEA development experience
- Advanced knowledge of test equipment capabilities and specialized probing techniques
- Advanced knowledge of circuit analysis and simulation
- Strong understanding of power design, high speed signaling, and noise immunity
- Expertise in low power embedded systems and electromechanical components
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (OrCAD or Altium preferred)
- Design for manufacturability and design for test in high volume products
- Development of test protocols and technical test reports
- Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) design and test experience preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
