Position

Senior RF Design Engineer – Raytheon’s Receiver/Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) Department, located in Marlborough, MA or Tewksbury, MA. 1st shift, 100% onsite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and development of transmitters, receivers, or exciters.
  • Design and optimization of RF circuits, including chains of components and individual parts such as filters, limiters, couplers.
  • Circuit schematic capture and RF routing.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams (power, digital, mechanical, etc.).
  • Provide technical support during transition to production and ongoing production support.
Required Qualifications
  • B.S. in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in microwave/RF system, subsystem, or component design or testing.
  • Experience with analytical tools such as MATLAB.
  • U.S. citizenship required; must obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance post‑start.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with simulation tools such as ADS, System

    VUE and/or Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
  • Ability to translate system performance specifications into hardware and test requirements.
  • Background in designing for manufacturability, producibility, and cost constraints, including yield and margin analysis.
  • Problem‑solving skills and proactive identification of alternate solutions.
  • Experience in cost and schedule management, technical proposal writing, and oral presentations.
  • Technical background in cascade analysis, frequency planning, filter design and fabrication, circuit card assembly, high‑speed data converter test/characterization, low‑noise RF source design and test.
