Position
Senior RF Design Engineer – Raytheon’s Receiver/Exciter & Processing Architecture (REPA) Department, located in Marlborough, MA or Tewksbury, MA. 1st shift, 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities- Design and development of transmitters, receivers, or exciters.
- Design and optimization of RF circuits, including chains of components and individual parts such as filters, limiters, couplers.
- Circuit schematic capture and RF routing.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams (power, digital, mechanical, etc.).
- Provide technical support during transition to production and ongoing production support.
- B.S. in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in microwave/RF system, subsystem, or component design or testing.
- Experience with analytical tools such as MATLAB.
- U.S. citizenship required; must obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance post‑start.
- Experience with simulation tools such as ADS, System
VUE and/or Mentor Graphics Xpedition. - Ability to translate system performance specifications into hardware and test requirements.
- Background in designing for manufacturability, producibility, and cost constraints, including yield and margin analysis.
- Problem‑solving skills and proactive identification of alternate solutions.
- Experience in cost and schedule management, technical proposal writing, and oral presentations.
- Technical background in cascade analysis, frequency planning, filter design and fabrication, circuit card assembly, high‑speed data converter test/characterization, low‑noise RF source design and test.
