Job Overview
Electrical Engineer – Analog and Power Design (Onsite, Massachusetts)
Responsibilities- Work closely with a team to develop proven designs based on system performance and operational specifications.
- Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document analog and power design products.
- Resolve production issues related to existing product designs.
- Provide support to production, integration, and test activities.
- Perform design, test, and production support work within the bounds of a given schedule.
- Present reviews of technical data to program leadership and technical staff.
- Engage in personal technical growth and facilitate technical growth in peers.
- Lead small teams to success with schedule, budget, and technical execution.
- Travel to assigned locations (Tewksbury, MA; Marlborough, MA; Andover, MA; Woburn, MA; Pelham, NH) as required.
- Degree in STEM with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
- Design, test, and/or production experience with analog or power electronics, power systems, power conversion, power distribution, power subsystem design, or control systems.
- Experience in modeling and simulation using PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar tools.
- Experience with requirements development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead/manage small teams to achieve schedule, budget, and technical commitments.
- Experience generating technical documentation and reports.
- Knowledge of test and production methods for electronic components.
- Experience interfacing with procurement, manufacturing, and external suppliers to ensure proper implementation of product designs.
- Hardware development experience in a Department of Defense environment.
- Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD, commensurate with experience.
