Job Summary
Systems Engineer supporting Naval Radar programs in the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team at RTX in Marlborough, MA.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real‑world environments.
- Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
- Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating functionality and impact.
- Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
- Work with a multi‑disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
- Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
- Support mission execution by traveling up to 10% to sites including RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
- Experience in systems hardware, systems integration, and/or systems test.
- Preferred experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field supporting integration and/or verification.
- Experience generating technical documentation such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports.
- Familiarity with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or other programming languages.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (DoD Secret) prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.
- Onsite work at RTX facility in Marlborough, MA.
Salary range: $68,900 USD – $131,100 USD.
