, a division of RTX, is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to develop advanced communication systems across ground and airborne platforms.
Location:
Marlbrough, MA (US). This is an onsite role for U.S. Citizens with an active and transferable
* Secret* security clearance required before the start date.
- Lead the development of full‑life‑cycle solutions from CONOPS to validation.
- Define and perform laboratory activities, including setup, configuration management, and testing.
- Integrate solutions within their target environment.
- Coach and review the work of lower‑level professionals.
- Influence others regarding policies, practices, and procedures.
- Manage small projects or processes.
- Prepare and execute Design Reviews, Integration, Dry‑Run, and Formal Qualification Testing.
- Review minor changes and document moderate changes in systems or processes to solve complex problems.
- Influence decision‑makers with recommended courses of action.
- Analyze and document system behaviors.
- Support system trade studies, requirements analysis, and allocation to subsystems.
- Define modeling, hardware, and software interfaces.
- Strong integration and test experience, including test procedure development, execution, reporting, and automation.
- Proficiency with tooling such as Microsoft products or tasking boards (Jira, IBM EWM, etc.).
- Typical education: STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
- Valid U.S. citizenship and an active, transferable Secret government‑issued clearance required on day
1.
- Experience with SATCOM, LOS/BLOS, AEHF, PTW, or V/UHF radio systems.
- Experience in Environmental Qualification Testing (EQT).
- Experience with system‑level integration, verification, and validation for ground, ship, submarine, or airborne platforms.
- Experience supporting software applications and hardware development.
- Experience with virtual‑machine design and deployment.
- Proficiency with CAMEO or Rhapsody tooling.
- Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to interact with IPT leaders, engineers, program managers, and customers.
