SPY-Mission Area Integration Engineer Onsite

Raytheon’s Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC), Surface Radars & Sensors Center department is seeking a Mission Integration Engineer. In this position, you will play a critical role in verifying RADAR data against stringent requirements to enable advanced system capabilities in state‑of‑the‑art, cutting‑edge sensors for the SPY‑6 RADAR system.

• Support Testing Efforts: develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real‑world environments.
• Troubleshoot and Analyze: identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
• Integrate Systems: integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating functionality and impact.
• Drive Performance: collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
• Collaborate: work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
• Document and Communicate: develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support Missions: travel as needed (up to 10%) to support mission execution at various locations, including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with radar data for Navy radar systems and/or developing analysis tools.
• Experience performing system integration (e.g., AAW, BMD, etc.).
• Experience with C++, Python, MATLAB, and/or similar programming languages.

• Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field, supporting integration and/or verification.
• Experience generating technical documentation such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports.
• Experience with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or other digital engineering tools.

Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD (good faith estimate representative of all experience levels).
