Job Summary
The Antenna/Microwave and E3 Department provides innovative solutions across all business areas. The EMI Effects Engineer is responsible for EMI/EMC analysis, design, and testing of phased array antenna systems, including active and passive microwave components, radiators, radomes, and RF subassemblies.
What You Will Do- Provide technical conscience ensuring products and processes meet E3 standards.
- Balance risk conditions and constraints while advising leadership.
- Be visible and accountable for technical decisions.
- Serve as the technical contact with customers, including requirements, commitments, IRAD, and future technical needs.
- Collaborate across Mechanical, Systems, and Electrical Engineering disciplines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in EMI/EMC analysis, design, and test.
- Experience with MATLAB and a commercial electromagnetic simulation tool (ANSYS HFSS, CST Microwave).
- Completed courses in Electromagnetics and/or Antennas.
- Master’s degree in an engineering or technical field.
- Current DoD security clearance of Secret or higher.
- Ability to produce detailed EMI test plans, procedures, and reports with minimal revision.
- Strong analytical, customer-focused, verbal and written communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
