Job Summary
Systems Engineer – Naval Radar Programs (RTX, Marlborough, MA). This role supports testing, troubleshooting, integration, and performance improvement activities for naval radar systems in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Location & AccessibilityMarlborough, MA (on‑site). Up to 10% travel for mission support.
Security ClearanceU.S. citizen required; must obtain or maintain a U.S. Government‑issued Secret clearance prior to start.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation for simulated and real‑world environments.
- Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through data analysis and debugging.
- Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating functionality and impact.
- Collaborate across disciplines to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
- Work with multi‑disciplinary teams to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
- Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
- Travel as needed (up to 10%) to support mission execution at RTX facilities, test sites, vendor or customer locations.
- Degree in a STEM field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in systems hardware, integration, or test.
- Experience in an integration lab, test facility, or field supporting integration/verification.
- Experience generating technical documentation: test plans, procedures, technical reports.
- Knowledge of DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or similar digital engineering tools.
- Programming skills: MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar.
- Experience with complex naval radar systems.
Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD. Eligible for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term & long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, holidays. Eligible for annual incentive programs if position covered by collective bargaining agreement.
