Senior Computer Infrastructure Support Engineer – Marlborough, MA (Onsite)
Responsibilities- Work with hardware and software engineers to support hardware build, integration, and testing of custom processing hardware.
- Provide IT systems administration in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment for real‑time systems.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Ethernet and Infiniband networks.
- Write and execute Python and Bash scripts to support verification testing and automate procedures.
- Develop integration and test plans and procedures, and conduct functional, performance, and environmental testing at the subsystem level. Log hardware metrics and present results for power, CPU and memory usage, CPU temperature, and network throughput.
- Update FPGA firmware using Quartus.
- Assist in architecting hardware systems to meet performance needs.
- Work 100% on‑site at Marlborough, MA.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience administering Linux operating systems.
- Experience with x86 computer hardware, preferably data center‑grade.
- Experience with shell, Bash, and Python scripting.
- CompTIA Linux+ certification.
- Experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Git Lab, and Git Lab Runner.
- Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Telegraf, and Prometheus.
- Experience with developer tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience with C++ programming.
- Radar or DSP knowledge.
U.S. citizenship is required. Candidates must obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and meet all security clearance criteria.
Benefits & CompensationSalary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD. Relocation assistance based on eligibility.
