At RTX, you will work in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment, applying troubleshooting techniques to resolve moderate to high‑complexity IT issues and collaborating with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.

• Provide IT systems administration in a Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.
• Apply knowledge of Windows Server internals or Linux fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and server replication.
• Work as part of a team in a fast‑paced technological environment.
• Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including integration of hardware and operating systems.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
• Document and train on advanced IT processes and procedures.
• Obtain DoDD 8140 / 8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within six months of start date.
• Support 24x7 operations, including occasional work beyond standard hours.
• Travel within the U.S. as business needs dictate, up to 10% of the year.

• University degree or equivalent experience with less than two years of relevant experience.
• Active and transferable Secret security clearance required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Experience with Windows or Linux operating systems.

• Experience as a technical SME for patching, vulnerability remediation, or compliance initiatives.
• Experience with VMware technologies (ESXi, vCenter, VM lifecycle management, host upgrades).
• Experience with system hardening and STIG/EVAL STIG implementation.
• Experience with Function or Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, and Network Analyzers.
• Experience with MECM/SCCM, PXE boot services, OS imaging, and automated software deployment.
• Experience with enterprise Windows services, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity integration.
• Experience with cybersecurity and compliance tooling such as ACAS, SCAP, Splunk, STIG Viewer, and audit support processes.

• Salary range: $57,200 – $108,800 per year.
