Software Engineer
Our Connected Aviation – Air Traffic Solutions (ATS-SED) is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to support and enhance our Air Traffic Control Systems worldwide, including Next Gen Weather Processor, STARS, and Auto Trac product lines. The role is located in Marlbrough, MA, and requires U.S. citizenship.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and resolve complex issues in software baselines.
- Update software process documentation and work instructions to meet ATS‑SED’s high maturity standards.
- Participate in agile processes: daily standups, sprint planning, feature development, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and story pointing.
- Collaborate with an integrated engineering team to meet cost and schedule objectives, communicating across multiple levels with engineering, program management, and external stakeholders.
- Support testing, debugging, and integration activities throughout the software development life‑cycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
- Experience developing and integrating software in a RedHat9 environment using Git.
- Proficiency with Java or C/C++ across the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with agile methodologies and related processes.
- Strong skills in software testing, debugging, and source‑code analysis.
- U.S. citizenship (required).
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, and Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
- Experience with RedHat9/7 environments.

The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD, based on experience and qualifications.
