Principal Software Systems Quality Engineer (Compliance)

Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship required; must obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, active and existing from day 1.
Responsibilities- Review and assess Software Deliverables such as CDRL, Command Media, SW Release Packages (Windchill PDM, Azure Dev Ops), Requirements, Defects, Pull Requests, Media, and Test Artifacts.
- Participate in Peer Reviews, Control Boards (CCB, SRB), Tracking Books (Metrics), Test Witnessing (SQT, FQT), and Audits.
- Ensure compliance of digital products with contractual requirements and partner inputs/outputs.
- Apply risk assessments, root‑cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions across the lifecycle.
- Leverage Agile and Dev Sec Ops practices to improve processes and software quality.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Integration/Test, Safety, and Hardware Quality teams.
- Provide guidance to senior leadership, team members, and peers.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) – or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of quality or engineering experience in software, systems, or technical roles.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, code reviews, defect management, release processes, metrics, and risk analysis.
- Knowledge of quality standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Certifications in Quality, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Agile, Cyber/IA, or Project Management.
- Experience with Dev Sec Ops tool chains:
Confluence, Azure Dev Ops Server, Jenkins, Git Hub, Coverity. - Familiarity with configuration management systems (Clear Case, DOORS, RQM, Cameo, Rhapsody).
- IPSec, TLS, DHCP, SNMP, DNS, IDS, SIEM knowledge; experience managing network security.
- Background in leading cross‑functional initiatives, stakeholder collaboration, and strategy development.
Salary Range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD (range reflects all experience levels).
