Principal Software Systems Quality Engineer (Compliance)

Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship required; must obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, active and existing from day 1.

• Review and assess Software Deliverables such as CDRL, Command Media, SW Release Packages (Windchill PDM, Azure Dev Ops), Requirements, Defects, Pull Requests, Media, and Test Artifacts.
• Participate in Peer Reviews, Control Boards (CCB, SRB), Tracking Books (Metrics), Test Witnessing (SQT, FQT), and Audits.
• Ensure compliance of digital products with contractual requirements and partner inputs/outputs.
• Apply risk assessments, root‑cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions across the lifecycle.
• Leverage Agile and Dev Sec Ops  practices to improve processes and software quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Integration/Test, Safety, and Hardware Quality teams.
• Provide guidance to senior leadership, team members, and peers.

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) – or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of quality or engineering experience in software, systems, or technical roles.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, code reviews, defect management, release processes, metrics, and risk analysis.
• Knowledge of quality standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Certifications in Quality, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Agile, Cyber/IA, or Project Management.
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops  tool chains:
  Confluence, Azure Dev Ops Server, Jenkins, Git Hub, Coverity.
• Familiarity with configuration management systems (Clear Case, DOORS, RQM, Cameo, Rhapsody).
• IPSec, TLS, DHCP, SNMP, DNS, IDS, SIEM knowledge; experience managing network security.
• Background in leading cross‑functional initiatives, stakeholder collaboration, and strategy development.

Salary Range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD (range reflects all experience levels).
