Position: Classroom Teacher / Elementary School Classes
Job Description:

Elementary Teacher - Either Grade 2 or Grade 3

Qualifications:

* Education:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in related content area.

* Certification:
Must possess or be eligible for one of the CT State Department of Education (013) Elementary, K-6 Certification. (113) Integrated Early Childhood/SPED, Nursery-K, Elementary 1-3

Salary:
Salary, work year and working conditions will be in accordance with the current contract between the Board of Education and the Suffield Educators Association.

Period of Employment:
Accepting applications for the start of the 2026/2027 school year.

Reports to:

Building Administrator

* Ability to positively engage teachers, students, and families in the learning process.

* A commitment to collaborating with colleagues to improve learning outcomes for all students.

* Ability to use data to inform instructional decisions and interventions.

* Ability to build organizational capacity around best practices and instruction based on our district's continuous improvement work.
