10:00pm to 6:30am Monday to Friday

Job Summary:

* This is an entry level maintenance mechanic position.

Responsibilities include:

Under supervision of higher-level mechanic, have the ability to learn proper troubleshooting and repairing of equipment associated in production in a timely manner as well as the maintenance of all building support equipment, including but not limited to air, water, steam, hydraulic, refrigeration, and electric systems.

Job Responsibilities:

* Properly troubleshoot and repair all equipment associated with in the production facility, in a timely manner with supervision
* Perform preventative maintenance on all production, and warehouse equipment;
* Properly perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and plumbing duties as required;
* Rebuild/replace equipment as needed, including but not limited to pumps, gear boxes, bearings, bushings, chains, bundler headers, conveyors, etc.
* Complete assigned work orders by their required due dates;
* Complete assigned housekeeping duties as required;
* Communicate to Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager of any condition that prevents the manufacture of product to established standards;
* Work in a safe manner, in compliance with Company, State and Federal GMP's, SOP's and company Policy and Procedures;
* Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, and emergencies, as needed;
* Possess own basic hand tools necessary to perform the requirements of the position;
* Work effectively as part of a team and display a positive attitude;

* Education and Experience:

* Must take in house mechanical aptitude test.
* Basic math and reading skills;
* Ability to work independently or in a group/team atmosphere;
