Shift/Hours

2 PM – 10:30 PM Monday to Friday with overtime on Saturdays. This is a temporary position.

Job Summary

Perform activities associated with Warehouse Operations including coverage for palletizer/robot operators. Ability to operate multiple levels of PIT including walkie-rider; reach trucks; sit-down trucks; ability to palletize product (both manually and automatically with robot); operate stretch wrapping equipment; assist with loading trailers, put aways and retrieval of ingredients/packaging/finished goods; generate license plates for pallets; and relief of palletizers, including robot operator.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate Robot Equipment
  • Operate all PIT Equipment:
    Walkie, Walkie/Rider, Sit-Down, Hi-Lo Reach
  • Perform basic battery maintenance (check fluid level and change battery when needed)
  • Manually palletize product and ensure it is in saleable condition
  • Ensure pallets are in acceptable condition for use and have appropriate pallet tickets
  • Utilize proper lifting technique (bend at knees and carry load close to body)
  • Operate and maintain stretch wrapping equipment, ensuring proper application on pallets
  • Pull away, label and stage product palletized from robot or manual stations
  • Load / unload trailers, checking wheels, jack stands, dock locks, and dock lights
  • Verify product being loaded/unloaded and complete paperwork, generating pallet tags if applicable
  • Put away and retrieve product, recording bin locations and generating pallet tickets
  • Create license plates for each pallet entering the warehouse inventory system
  • Assist in all warehouse activities as needed (palletize, stretch wrap, forklift operation)
  • Work effectively as part of a team and display a positive attitude
  • Report all damage to a supervisor or manager immediately
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and practice safe work behaviors
  • Follow all company, state, and federal requirements, ensuring compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and all regulations
  • Be cooperative and take initiative to ensure smooth operations
  • Other duties as assigned
Safety Responsibilities
  • Work in a safe and responsible manner at all times, following all safety policies, procedures, and rules
  • Report unsafe observations or conditions to a supervisor or manager
  • Immediately report an injury or accident to a supervisor or manager
  • Meet all company training requirements, including Log Out / Tag Out Awareness, PPE, PIT, Ergonomics, etc.
SQF Requirements / Responsibilities

Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.

Education And Experience
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • PIT Operator Certified
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Ability to work independently or within a group atmosphere
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with computer systems (Word, Excel)

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $20 - 20 USD.
