We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Handyman with SSSTS to work on a long-term construction project in Friston. This is a hands-on, practical role maintaining site offices, compounds, and welfare facilities.

Role Overview :

The Site Handyman will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of site facilities, ensuring they are safe, functional, and maintained to a good standard. This is not an office-based facilities role – it is a hands on role within a live construction environment.

Key Duties:

* Carrying out general handyman and maintenance works across site

* Maintaining site offices, compounds, and welfare facilities

* Fixing lighting, doors, walls, fixtures, fittings, and minor repairs

* Addressing day-to-day defects and snagging issues

* Coordinating remedial works and reporting to site management

* Ensuring welfare areas remain safe, clean, and fully operational

* Rate: £23 per hour (PAYE) / £27.50 per hour (CIS)

* Duration:
Long-term, ongoing work

Requirements:

* SSSTS – Essential

* Proven experience as a Site Handyman / Maintenance Operative / Facilities Handyman on construction sites

* Confident using tools and working independently

* Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills

* Experience working within a live construction environment
