We are looking for a passionate clerical/administrative employee that is looking for an opportunity to grow with us. The successful candidate will perform support preparing, transcribing, transferring, systematizing, and preserving both written and computerized communications and records; gathering and distributing the information. Duties also include operating office machines, storing, and accounting for stores of materials. The candidate shall support projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials;
operating computerized business systems for the purposes of recording labor hours of the workforce; data entry and mining of business systems for the administration of ship repair and gathering performance metrics. Candidate shall provide administrative support services to ensure efficient office operations and management.
Required tasks shall include:
- Digitizing and organizing documents
- Inputting data and/or metadata into databases and other documents
- Collating, transcribing, and reviewing relevant documents
- Developing and designing document templates
- Supporting organization and development of SOPs and desk guides
- Collecting photographs, images, and other digital media for use in historical products
- Assisting with branch information technology needs
- Editing written documents and fact checking
- Office coverage, task management and follow‑up of phone calls, meetings, email requests, and various other forms of correspondence
- Follow‑up to ensure that all tasks are completed on schedule and according to expectations
- Minimum of three (3) years of the last five (5) years’ experience performing administrative support services
- Strong Microsoft skills, with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point
