MUST HAVE VETERAN AFFILIATION
Responsibilities and Duties for Administrative Reporting Specialist:
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to assigned programs.
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, rooms, equipment, and other resources.
  • Maintain electronic and paper records.
  • Complete financial intake and update consumer records.
  • Coordinate centralized scheduling for consumer services.
  • Compile and analyze reports.
  • Answer phones and communicate professionally with clients and staff.
  • Take meeting minutes and prepare documentation.
  • Gather materials for projects.
  • Coordinate insurance billing by:
  • Verifying insurance coverage
  • Collecting referrals
  • Collecting co-pays
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills:

Education/Equivalent:
Graduation from an accredited college with an associate’s degree in business related field or a combination of education and work experience.

Work experience in Mental Health, Substance Abuse or similar setting preferred

  • Strong organization and time management
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Administrative decision-making and judgment
  • Problem-solving and teamwork
  • Ability to interpret policies and procedures
  • Proficiency with:
    Microsoft Office, Sage, Kronos, and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
