Position Description
The Admissions Coordinator partners with community organizations, judicial agencies, and other Hope Center Ministries (HCM) Admissions Coordinators to ensure prospective residents are properly screened, vetted, and scheduled for admission into the program. This role is responsible for maintaining timely and accurate reporting in accordance with agency and organizational requirements.
The Admissions Coordinator supports the ministry’s mission by sharing the gospel with prospective residents, family members, and community members, with the goal of increasing admissions and expanding awareness of HCM programs and services.
As a minister of the gospel, the Admissions Coordinator is responsible for facilitating marriages, communion, baptisms and funerals as those opportunities present themselves, serving the spiritual needs of individuals and communities through these important moments of life and faith.

The Admissions Coordinator seeks to create a compassionate, structured, and hope-filled first experience for individuals seeking freedom from addiction and life-controlling issues. The Admissions Coordinator also protects the integrity of the program by ensuring residents are appropriately screened, prepared, and aligned with the mission and structure of Hope Center Ministries.
Their work supports not only successful admissions, but stronger long-term outcomes for residents, campuses, and families impacted by addiction.
Primary Job Functions
- Provide prospective residents and families with encouragement, support, prayer, and ministry-centered guidance throughout the admissions journey.
- Share the gospel message and support the mission of Hope Center Ministries by helping individuals take their first step toward life transformation and recovery.
- Respond to prospective resident inquiries in a timely, professional, and compassionate manner through phone calls, email, text, and other communication platforms.
- Conduct applicant screenings and assessments to determine eligibility for admission into Hope Center Ministries programs in accordance with ministry guidelines and standards.
- Clearly communicate program expectations, admissions requirements, policies, and next steps to prospective residents, family members, referral partners, and outside agencies
- Coordinate communication with all impacted/approving individuals and entities (Attorneys, Court Clerks, Bondsman, Probation/Parole Officers) to ensure admission to the HCM is in the best interested of the potential resident
- Act as the legal liaison for residents with legal constraints, coordinating required documentation and status updates as needed.
- Coordinate and schedule admissions, transportation, intake appointments, and related logistics to ensure smooth resident onboarding and transition into the program.
