The HVAC Construction Manager is part of a wider team of Leaders reporting to the Mechanical Lead supporting the delivery of the installation. Delivery of the upstream engineering sequence is outside the scope of the Construction Manager's role; however they should ensure integration with the other areas of the team and other disciplines. This role has counterparts across the other disciplines in the MEH construction team, who perform equivalent roles for the other four disciplines of MEH, support the Area and Building Leads, and Construction Engineers in the day-to-day construction planning, engineering and works progression and utilising the 16

WLA, ensuring material deliveries are known and documentation is in place. Accountable to deliver Discipline Specific Construction Work Pack scope of works to support the MEH construction activities. Engage with the constructability using the building engineers as required to facilitate sequencing of installation that maximises efficiency. Manage project change within your discipline ensuring that the project change process is adhered to.

This will include construction documentation as well as scope change aspects of the contract.

• Managing the technical issues relating to the installation of HVAC (construction activities)
• Writing documentation for erection activities and ensuring documents are compliant with the latest works information and other MEH documentation
• Supporting Technical Queries and resolving the construction open points
• Coordinating all engineering activities to support construction sequencing, including the identification and implementation of improvements to processes and ways of working (e.g., redlining process on site)
• Ensuring integration of post-construction needs into the construction sequence (e.g., commissioning test pack review and acceptance)

• Degree in a relevant construction discipline or HVAC engineering with extensive experience in a similar role or 10 years' experience in a site construction management role
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and installation
• Good knowledge of CDM Regulations
• CCNSG Safety Passport (or MAPS)
• Capability to obtain security clearance of BPSS or higher
• Proven experience safely delivering large scale construction or engineering projects, including working at a management level of authority
• Experience in the heavy industry or nuclear sectors is beneficial, as is experience with Joint Ventures
