Salary Range: $18.00 To $27.00 Hourly

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Laborers to join our team in a dynamic construction environment. As a Laborer, you will play an essential role in supporting underground utility construction operations by assisting skilled tradesmen, equipment operators, and supervisors with a variety of manual labor tasks. Ideal candidates will be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or with minimal supervision while consistently meeting project expectations.

A strong work ethic, commitment to safety, and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

• Perform general labor tasks in support of underground utility construction projects involving water, sanitary sewer, force main, and storm drainage systems.
• Assist pipelayers, equipment operators, and other crew members with excavation, pipe installation, back filling, grading, and site cleanup.
• Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on the job site.
• Dig trenches and perform hand excavation using shovels, picks, tampers, and other hand tools as needed.
• Help guide equipment operators during excavation and material placement while maintaining safe working distances.
• Clean and prepare job sites before, during, and after construction activities.
• Safely handle and transport materials, including pipe, fittings, and construction supplies.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition.
• Assist with traffic control and work zone setup as required.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and project-specific safety requirements.
• Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or workplace hazards to the Foreman immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful completion of construction projects.

• Previous construction or underground utility experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and safe work practices is preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while remaining self-motivated.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
