Suffolk Public Schools will be hosting a Teacher Job Fair on Saturday, March 21, 2026. If you are interested in attending, please apply to this posting and attach proof of certification (see below).

Who should attend?

• Candidates who are eligible for VA Licensure and recent graduates who have completed student teaching
• Applicants who currently hold a valid VA Teaching License
• Applicants who are interested in Provisional entry teaching opportunities
• Current SPS employees who are interested in transferring
• Open positions for OT, SLP, Psychologist

What to expect?

• An opportunity to meet school staff members and potentially interview with school administrators.

Proof of certification would include one of the following:

• In State:
  Valid VA Teaching Certificate
• Out of State:
  Valid teaching certificate and Praxis Scores
• New Graduates:
  Letter of eligibility from college or transcripts and Praxis scores

The current salary does not represent the 2026–2027 academic year, as it may be subject to increase.
