A municipal law enforcement agency in Suffolk, Virginia, is seeking a School Resource Officer to enhance safety in schools and engage with students. The successful candidate will patrol school areas, respond to incidents, and teach law enforcement topics. A high school diploma and certification as a law enforcement officer in Virginia are required. Additional qualifications such as First Aid/CPR certifications are preferred.
