The Goddard School in Chesterfield, Virginia is seeking an Older Infant Assistant Teacher to work from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm in our ever‑growing program. You will coordinate the daily operations, care, and development of your assigned classroom and plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities in a safe environment, working directly with children and parents to provide quality customer service.

- Coordinate daily classroom operations, care and development of children.
- Plan, present and evaluate educational and recreational activities using the Wonder of Learning curriculum.
- Work directly with children and parents to provide quality customer service.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring smooth school operations.
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop creative ideas for an engaging curriculum.
- Communicate with parents daily, sharing children's progress through mobile apps and personal discussions.
- Engage with other childcare professionals and continue to grow in your profession.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred.
- Six months or more experience in a childcare facility.
- Ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty.
- Proficiency in calmly addressing stressful situations while multitasking to ensure smooth operations.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. when handling children or emergencies.
- Meets background check eligibility.
