Before and After School Site Director​/Early Learning Professional

Pay: $18.00

Hours:

Monday through Friday AM shift 6:30am-9:15am PM shift 3:30pm-6pm

• Must be 21 years of age and shall meet one of the following below:
  • Graduate degree in a child-related field such as elementary education, nursing, or recreation from a college or university and six months of programming experience
  • Endorsement or bachelor's degree in a child-related field such as elementary education, nursing, or recreation from a college or university and one year of programming experience
  • 48 semester hours college credit in child-related subjects or CDA or 72 quarter hours college credit, of which 12 semester or 18 quarter hours are in a child-related subject, and one year of programming experience
  • Two years of programming experience with one year in a staff supervisory capacity and at least one year of the following education backgrounds: one-year early childhood certificate from a college or university that consists of at least 30 semester hours
• CPR and First Aid certification required
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and supervision preferred
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)

, as an AlphaBEST Site Director, you’ll lead a meaningful before and after school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive.

• Takes child safety seriously and follows procedures closely
• Is flexible, reliable, and ready to jump in wherever needed

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
• Oversee/facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
• Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
• Make child safety the top priority at all times
• Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
• Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
• Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements met
• Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
• Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success
