, rated GOOD by Ofsted, that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic QTS History Teacher
. The school is committed to delivering a broad and engaging Humanities curriculum, encouraging students to think critically, analyse historical events and develop a lifelong appreciation of history.
- This school caters for students aged 11-16
. - Full‑time, Monday - Friday,
History Teacher - Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated History lessons across KS3 and KS4
. - Inspire students through creative and thought‑provoking teaching that develops historical knowledge, analytical skills and independent thinking.
- Assess, monitor and track student progress to ensure strong attainment and positive outcomes.
- Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where all students can succeed.
- Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school team.
- Contribute to curriculum development, intervention programmes and enrichment opportunities, including educational visits and extracurricular activities where appropriate.

What we're looking for- Qualified Teacher Status (
QTS
) is essential. - A degree in History or a closely related subject.
- Experience teaching History across KS3 and KS4 within a secondary school.
- A passion for History and the ability to engage, motivate and challenge learners of all abilities.
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- A proactive, positive and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
