:
High School diploma or G.E.D. - Certifications
Requirements
: CPR certification from an accredited agency (in person);
First Aid certification from an accredited agency (in person); EIPA of 3.5+ or VQAS II and have passed the written exam. - Experience
Requirements
:
Minimum 1 year of providing instructional assistance interpretation in a school environment, completion of an Interpreter Training program. - Other
Requirements
:
Must obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license (front and back);
Social Security Card; background checks if required; strong communication skills, ability to pass background checks, and in-person certifications. Must have a passion for supporting students and a commitment to confidentiality.

- Provide sign language interpretation to students in classroom, extracurricular, and extracurricular settings.
- Assist with communication between teachers, students, and staff to facilitate understanding.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support individual student needs.
- Ensure accurate interpretation during lessons and activities.
You have at least one year of school interpreting experience. You hold CPR, First Aid, and EIPA or VQAS certification. You possess strong communication skills and a valid driver’s license
