As an Electrical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing both basic and advanced drytype transformers that meet precise customer and industry specifications. This is a dynamic opportunity to apply stateoftheart engineering methods, solve complex design challenges, and convert innovative concepts into high performance products.
You’ll actively collaborate with cross functional teams-including product development, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and marketing-to create optimized solutions that support our growth in new and existing markets. In partnership with global colleagues, you’ll help establish best practice design standards and tools used across the organization.

How You’ll Make an Impact- Design drytype transformers aligned with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Apply advanced engineering methods, calculations and design best practices.
- Collaborate with global and local teams to support product and process improvements.
- Develop optimized solutions that support market expansion.
- Document designs, calculations, and test data with accuracy and clarity.
- Support production, supply chain, and quality teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Learn and apply internally developed transformer design programs.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- A BS or MS in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of drytype transformer design experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering tools (CAD/AutoCAD, Visio, Adobe, etc.).
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and travel up to 10%.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and a valid driver's license.
