Senior Consultant at Crescit Executive Search

Location: Remote (United States)

Job Brief:

This position will plan, design, provide construction administration, and possibly manage aspects of multidiscipline projects consisting of water/wastewater treatment and collection/distribution systems for municipal clients throughout the United States. The individual should be capable of performing the technical design on water/wastewater projects and collaborate with our team of engineers, EITs, CADD technicians, and subconsultants, to successfully execute these types of projects.

The position will expose the engineer to a full range of water and wastewater facility projects. Projects may include water/wastewater treatment facility green field projects, upgrade and expansion projects, process upgrades or rehabilitation projects, water distribution and storage systems, transmission pipelines, wastewater collection systems, pump stations, and other water utility related projects.

  • Develop detailed designs, plans, specifications, reports and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks and other water / wastewater storage and conveyance systems.
  • Perform or manage engineering/process design, hydraulics, pumping systems, and treatment process projects.
  • Coordinate with multiple departments and sub-consultants required for multi-discipline projects.
  • Research and utilize available resources.
  • Lead or assist a project team in completing multiple projects simultaneously and be self-motivated.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Gather data for engineering analyses through phone contacts, written correspondence, and research sources.
  • Perform calculations and research in support of designs using engineering formulas and scenario analyses.
  • Prepare engineering reports, opinions and recommendations.
  • Maintain completed project files and proper document control.
  • Prepare design drawings, technical specifications, material quantity take-offs and develop construction cost estimates for projects.
  • Provide other duties as may be assigned by the Project Managers/Task Leads to support the project team.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field required
  • At least FIVE years of experience
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or the ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Advanced understanding of water treatment/distribution and wastewater collection/treatment principles and state regulations is preferred
