Job Description

As a Private Client Banker in Branch Banking, you will serve a select group of Chase’s affluent clients and other customers in the branch. You will manage their complete banking relationship, proactively generate growth in their balances, and acquire new clients through referrals and source development.

Job Responsibilities
  • Share the value of Chase Private Client with eligible clients.
  • Actively manage client relationships through an advice-based approach, ensuring optimal product and service fit.
  • Partner with Specialists (Private Client Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, Business Relationship Managers) to connect clients to experts for specialized financial needs.
  • Improve client convenience by setting up self‑service options for 24/7 account access.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success using a value‑added, relationship‑oriented approach to acquire and deepen client relationships.
  • 1+ year Branch Banking Banker or equivalent experience in financial services, with verifiable success in new client acquisition, cultivating and maintaining customer relationships, and revenue generation.
  • If not currently registered, completion of the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6/7, state registration (including 63 or 66 if required) and Life licenses within 180 days of start date.
  • Compliance with Dodd‑Frank/Truth in Lending Act.
  • High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
  • Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
  • Adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • College degree or military equivalent.
  • Experience cultivating relationships with affluent clients.
  • Strong team orientation and commitment to a long‑term career with the firm.
Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act

This position is subject to Dodd‑Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Candidates must have no felony convictions within the last seven years and satisfy all regulatory licensing requirements, including National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Compliance with the SAFE Act, including timely renewal and updates, is mandatory.
